The Rough River State Park has excellent lodge facilities and very nice rental cottages in the woods.  Plan on making reservations a year or more in advance, but you can always check to see if there have been cancellations.

Don't discount the idea of camping next to your plane.  It's fun!  There are rest rooms and showers at the nearby pilot's lounge.  Just bring a tent, a sleeping bag and ground pad.

If you'd like to camp in your motor home, there are 66 sites available with utilities, dump stations, showers and restrooms.

If you're looking for reservations at Rough River and found that the lodge is full, there are two mom 'n pop motels nearby that normally have rooms.

Food

There are charcoal pits a safe distance away from the planes if you'd like to cook out.  If not, the lodge is a pleasant walk away, and they serve good meals at reasonable prices.  The food is served buffet style, or you can order off the menu.

Plan on attending at least the Saturday evening dinner at the lodge to mingle with other canard builders and pilots.  Like the rest of the fly-in, this is very informal.  Everyone just shows up and buys their own dinner.  We sit around in table sized groups and trade stories over dinner.
